Abstract
This paper attempts to discuss various expressions of Minahasan reflecting on the formation of national character in Tontemboan language. Beside the meaning contains of truth and the desired values in everyday life, this language records the social realities in supporting community groups and the expression of Tontemboan language itself. The applied method is qualitative research, a description of the expressions in Tontemboan ethnic that very meaningful to the formation of national character.
