Abstract
"The purpose of this article is introduce us to the reading of the prophecy attributed to Hoseah through a new door. By deconstructing the stereotypes created by the metaphors which as a rule have opened the way to the interpretation of this prophecy, an entrance to the text is organized by way of the reality of the prostitution, which occurred in the kingdom of Israel and which reached the life of the women, men, children and of the entire nation. The new question about the conditions of life marked by prostitution becomes an important reference in order to analyze everyday life in the home in its manifold relationships and also daily life in other spheres such as farm work, harvest time, palace intrigues, military activities, religious services in rural areas and in the sanctuaries, internal and external political alliances. More than being a synthesis of each chapter, this article is given to constructing a new frame of reference in order to understand the prophecy and to briefly indicate several texts which can be tried out in this new hermeneutical light. The analytical crux of this article is its strong criticism of the priestly and other structures, which sustain or establish the State and not the construction of a negative image of women so as to figure as the symbol of the unfaithfulness of a nation to its God. The prophecy of Hoseah is not centered on this analogy"
