Abstract
"This document incorporates the rules of conduct according to the Financial Services Board (FSB) model, the existing Code of Professional Responsibility and the Generally Accepted Planning Practice (GAPP). The Code applies to all professional members, irrespective of level of membership and is binding on all professional members. It is not goal-orientated in nature, but directional and, as such, adherence to the contents of the Code is obligatory for all professional members. Any contravention of the Code is grounds for action under disciplinary regulations. In the interpretation of the Code, a zero-tolerance approach to fraud and corruption will be taken." (Preamble)
