Abstract
"A alteração da concepção do ensino religioso exigiu um repensar do objeto de estudo deste componente curricular; assim, desde a segunda metade da década de noventa do século XX pesquisadores procuram sistematizar esse objeto, a partir de uma pesquisa qualitativa documental histórica analítica, para identificar o percurso de construção da identidade do conhecimento científico para esta área do conhecimento. Para tal, foram utilizados estudos de Benincá, Costella, Junqueira, Schock e Turozzi, para a identificação desse percurso histórico da formação do objeto de ensino religioso no cenário brasileiro".
