Abstract
"En medicina, el consentimiento del paciente se define como el acto de autorización al médico para poner en práctica un tratamiento específico que, previamente explica a su paciente. Más exactamente, para el paciente dar su consentimiento a un tratamiento médico, a hacer la elección con conocimiento de causa, de una parte aceptar tomar el tratamiento particular (principio de autodeterminación). y de otra parte, consentir la puesta en ejecución del mismo sobre su propio cuerpo (principio de respecto a la integridad física).
