Abstract
"El pentecostalismo hizo su aparición en América Latina en los inicios del siglo XX. En su rápido desarrollo enfrento variadas vicisitudes antes de transformarse en una de las principales expresiones religiosas y ser parte constitutiva de la cultura religiosa del continente. De ahí, que sea el movimiento religiosos mas estudiado por los sociólogos, antropólogos, historiadores y teólogos. En este breve artículo, nos proponemos, en términos muy generales dar una mirada panorámica a la raíz protestante del pentecostalismo latinoamericano, sus orígenes, su rápido crecimiento numérico y como se puede augurar su futuro" ["Pentecostalism made its appearance in Latin America in the early the twentieth century.
