"On speaking about making decisions at the end of life, of necessity one must refer to active euthanasia, which originally implied the individual deciding to end his or her own life; in modern times its meaning has changed; in this age of basic rights, it has been replaced by the right to a dignified death" ["Al hablar acerca de la toma de decisiones en el final de la vida, necesariamente hay que referirse a la eutanasia activa, lo que implicó originalmente el individuo de decidir poner fin a su o su propia vida; en los tiempos modernos su significado ha cambiado; en esta era de los derechos fundamentales, que ha sido sustituido por el derecho a una vida digna muerte"]
