The Opinion covers all aspects of personal health data management: collection, processing, recording, storage, access, uses, management, responsibility, follow up, evaluation, systems and network design, …. · Personal health data are used not only in the practitioner-patient interaction but also by the numerous spatially distributed third parties. Such third parties may include medical practitioners who are given access to a patient’s medical data in the context of shared medical care, administrative bodies charged with the management of healthcare services, as well as other third parties such as insurers, employers, etc….
