"La Luz del Mundo Iglesia, como un movimiento religioso autóctono mexicano, se ha presentado como un movimiento único Nueva Religiosa. Sin embargo, un breve vistazo a su autoproclamada apóstol revela fuertes similitudes con las antiguas religiones especialmente el gnosticismo.
