Abstract
"En este documento, fruto de un trabajo iniciado por la CEPAL en el año 2009 y que se plasmó en el documento “Qué Estado para qué igualdad”, presentado en Brasilia durante la undécima Conferencia Regional sobre la Mujer de América Latina y el Caribe (2010) como documentode posición de la institución, se plantea la necesidad de articular un nuevo pacto social y fiscal para redistribuirel trabajo total de las sociedades (trabajo productivo y trabajo reproductivo) entre hombres y mujeres, incluidala adopción de todas las medidas necesarias por partedel Estado, ya sean legislativas, institucionales,educativas, sanitarias, fiscales y de participación delas mujeres en la toma de decisiones, para eliminar los sesgos de género en el mercado laboral".
