Abstract
"La carta a los Efesios revela una imagen de Cristo que ha marcado a la iglesia a lo largo de la historia. Esta imagen está al servicio de la práctica y del seguimiento a Cristo que el escrito intenta desencadenar en sus lectores y oyentes. La investigación bíblica ha ensalzado esta imagen para los resultados y explicaciones de las cuestiones polémicas de la carta, centrando su atención en los títulos y en las fórmulas. Sin embargo, Efesios, al presentar a Jesús como “nuestro Señor Jesús Cristo”, intenta darle poder a la militancia cristiana, frente a las circunstancias adversas de lo cotidiano." "The letter of Ephesians reveals an image of Christ which has been important for the church over time. This image is in the service of the practice and following of Christ which the Scripture seek to unleash in its readers and hearers. Biblical research has related this image to the results and explanations of the polemical questions of the letter, centering attention on the title and formulas. However, Ephesians, in presenting Jesus as “our Lord Jesus Christ” seeks to empower Christian militancy in the face of adverse circumstances of everyday life."
