Abstract
The purpose of this article is to explain about youth activities or the role of Karang Taruna in Kuniran, one of the villages in Purworejo, and to know the institutions that support to empower these youth. By using qualitative method, the author shows that there are some activities of youth in Kuniran such as reforestation/greening, renting of sound system, etc. Beside that, in organizing these activities karang taruna as a youth assosiation in Kuniran made the cooperation with some institutions such as RT, farmer assosiation, etc.
