Abstract
"El presente trabajo brinda una mirada general al libro de Ester. Sin embargo prestamos principal atención a las propuestas que brinda de cómo lidiar con un poder despótico y con quienes lo ejercen. Se privilegia una acción de influencia y manipulación antes que de confrontación abierta. En un segundo momento, habiendo resaltado el fuerte componente irónico en el texto, nos animamos a brindar una “lectura irónica”sobre las matanzas del 13 y 14 de Adar." "The present paper gives a general view about Esther’s book. However, we pay attention mainly to the diverse proposal of how to deal with a despotic power and those who use it. Influence and manipulation over the power is privileged rather than an open confrontation. In a second moment, after we emphasized the irony in the text, we propose an “ironic reading” about the massacres of Adar, 13th and 14th."
