Abstract
"Na atualidade é possível ver o surgimento de uma nova geração com características peculiares, com desejo de viver intensamente o momento, facilidade de interagir com novas tecnologias, valorização da informalidade, aversão a instituições tradicionais, excessiva criatividade, anseio por se conectar com o mundo etc. Essa é a chamada Geração Y. O presente artigo discute o surgimento dessa geração, analisa fatores que a distinguem das anteriores, mostra como a igreja tem sido afetada pela nova geração, objetivando obter princípios que norteiem a evangelização de pessoas da Geração Y, avaliando brevemente o modelo da igreja emergente como paradigma para atrair os indivíduos Y e alertando para o risco da perda da identidade cristã tradicional" ["Today you can see the emergence of a new generation with unique characteristics, with a desire to live intensely the moment, ease of interacting with new technologies, enhancement of informality, aversion to traditional institutions, excessive creativity, yearning to connect with the world etc. .
