Abstract
"Este artigo tem como objetivo explicitar a defesa viquiana da vida civil, por meio da constituição de sua nuova scienza: compreensão da gênese do mundo civil das nações. Far-se-á isso considerando a reflexão metafísica iniciada no De antiquíssima, que adquire um sentido mais amplo no Diritto Universale. Nesta obra, Vico busca na ciência do direito os fundamentos de um saber da civilidade humana. Tal sintetiza-se na proposição de uma nova scientia tentatur. Assim, o artigo encerra-se com a formulação viquiana de um novo saber justificada na união entre Filologia e Filosofia" ["This article aims to explain the viquiana defense of civil life, through the establishment of their scienza nuova: understanding the genesis of the civil world of nations. It shall be made-that considering the metaphysical reflection started in the ancient De, which has an expanded meaning in the Diritto Universale. In this work, Vico search in the science of law the foundation of a knowledge of human civility. Such sums up the proposition of a new scientia tentatur.
