Abstract
"Esse estudo exegético tem como objetivo entender o que significa a expressão “estar em escravidão”, em Gálatas 4:25. Um grupo relaciona a expressão à observância da lei de Deus como método de salvação e norma de conduta, dessa forma a graça de Cristo implicaria isenção de obediência a mesma. Por sua vez, outros entendem “escravidão” apenas em seu teor soteriológico, sem abolir as práticas normativas para a conduta cristã. O presente estudoaborda essa roblemática, analisando o contexto histórico, literário, léxico-sintático e teológico" ["This exegetical study has as a goal to understand the meaning of the expression “to be in slavery” of Galatians 4:25. One group understands this expression as referring to the observance of the law of God as a method of salvation, and as a norm of conduct. Under such a perspective, the Grace of Christ implies into the exemption from obeying the law. In the other side, there are those who understand “slavery” only in its soteriological meaning, without the abolition of the normative practices for Christian conduct. The present research approach this issue through the analysis of the historical, literary, lexical, syntactical, and theological contexts of the problem"]
