Abstract
"Los antiguos mitos y las utopías decimonónicas han dado paso actualmente a pretendidas profecías paradisíacas y simultánemante apocalípticas debidas a la revolución biotecnológica. El artículo se centra en el impacto en la opinión pública, en las expectativas fi nancieras de los lobbies y en la nueva literatura a este respecto. Analiza asimismo el contraste entre tales objetivos y temores y las posibilidades reales que él ve fundadas en el estado actual de la ciencia".
