Abstract
"La desaparición de los profetas continuará siendo un enigma sin soluciones definitivas. Este ensayo, a partir de los capítulos 9-14 del libro de Zacarías, intenta encontrar alguna pista que pueda ayudar a entender qué puede haber ocurrido. El primer paso es identificar los conflictos presentes en el texto y, para encontrar su raíz más profunda, compararlos con los conflictos que se generan con el final del exilio en Babilonia, época del primer Zacarías (1-8). En esta perspectiva, vale dejar en claro que la profecía no agotó su misión ni perdió su fuerza, hasta desaparecer. Ella fue duramente silenciada por la poderosa estructura hierocrática del templo sadoquita. Lo mismo aconteció con Jesús de Nazaret" "The disappearance of the prophets continues to be an enigma with no definitive solutions. This essay, as of chapters 9-14 of the book of Zechariah, intends to find a clue that will help us understand what has occurred. The first step is to identify the conflicts present in the text and in order to find their deeper roots, compare them with the conflicts generated at the end of the Babylonian exile, the period of first Zechariah (chapters 1-8). In this perspective it is worth making clear that the prophecy did not exhaust its mission nor was its force weakened to the point of disappearing. It was harshly silenced by the powerful hierocratic structure of the Sadducee temple. The same as happened to Jesus of Nazareth"
