Abstract
This paper discusses the inter-religious dialogue as a capital base towards inter-religious harmony. In theoretical studies, to understand the diversity and differences of belief, at least, there are three approaches which are often used: the theological, political, and sociocultural. As a result, religious scholar and government have an important role in religious life such as the role of Forum of Religious Harmony (FKUB) in Indonesia.
