Abstract
"Este artículo busca aproximarnos al estudio de los imaginarios religiosos y culturales que contribuyeron en la elaboración del texto apócrifo Hechos de Pedro y su influencia en la historia de la interpretación del cristianismo naciente en la diáspora africana. Aunque aparentemente pasivo el papel de las mujeres y sus cuerpos, ellas nos revelan un período en el cual actuaron como matronas, líderes comunitarias y con cierta autoridad dentro de sus comunidades. No obstante, la retórica de la narración les adjudica un papel secundario y pasivo, su rol se limita exclusivamente a ser curada y exclusivamente enseñada por el apóstol. De esta forma se refuerza una visión de la felicidad y la salvación que acentúa su pasividad, sufrimiento y dependencia de los varones. Abstract This article approaches to the study of the religious and cultural imaginary that contributed in the elaboration of apocryphal Acts of Peter text and its influence in the interpretation history of the nascent Christianity in the African Diaspora. Although seemingly passive to the roll of the women and their bodies, they reveal us one period in which acted as matrons, community leaders and with certain authority inside their communities. Nevertheless, the rhetoric of the narration awards them a secondary and passive paper, its roll limits exclusively to be cured and exclusively taught by the apostle. This way it is reinforced a vision of the happiness and the salvation that it accentuates their passivity, suffering and the males' dependence."
