Abstract
Die Evangelische Kirche befürwortet die Aufnahme einer Kompetenznorm in die Bundesverfassung zur Regelung der Transplantationsmedizin. Doch Lebenserhaltung um jeden Preis darf es nicht geben – genausowenig wie einen grundsätzlichen Verzicht auf Organtransplantationen. Auch müssen Maßnahmen genommen werden um den internationalen Organhandel zu unterbinden. The Swiss Protestant Church supports the introduction of a competence provision in the Federal Constitution to regulate transplantation medicine. However, it rejects preserving life at any cost just as much as it opposes a complete ban of organ transplantations. Steps should be taken to prevent international organ trafficking.
