Abstract
"El articulo presenta el desarrollo del título "Mesías" (hebreo Masiah, en griego christos) dado a Jesus, a traves de una aproximacion etimologica, biblica y de algunas reflexiones desde la perspectiva de genero en el contexto teologico feminista. Haciendo este recorrido se constata que la historia de Jesus de Nazareth alimenta la vivencia de una fe nueva, que da sentido a la existencia humana especialmente a las mujeres. Jesucristo se constituye en el camino mesianico que inaugura un nuevo orden visibilizado en las relaciones caracterizadas por la inclusion y que se orientan a crear comunidad; una comunidad que tiene como referente a Jesus, el Mesías, no como simple idea, sino como una persona viviente con quien establezco relaciones de mutualismo y reciprocidad. Al experimentar a Jesus como Mesías se erige el camino para hacer de la reflexion cristologica una respuesta al impulso liberador del evangelio, que se orienta a favorecer las relaciones que contrarrestan la desigualdad y la injusticia cometida contra las mujeres." "The article develops the title of "Messiah" (Hebrew mashie, griego christos) given to Jesus, through an etymological and biblical approach and through some considerations from a gender perspective, in the context of a feminist theology. Doing so, we find that the history of Jesus the Nazarene sustains the experience of a new faith; a faith that gives meaning to the human condition, to women in particular. Jesus Christ declares himself as the messianic way which launches a new order made visible in relationships, characterized by inclusiveness and oriented to create community; a community that has Jesus as its prime example: the Messiah, not as a mere idea, but as a living person with whom I have a mutual and reciprocal relationship. Experiencing Jesus as the Messiah is to pave the way to make the Christological reflection an answer to the liberating enthusiasm of the Gospel. This enthusiasm tends to promote relationships that thwart inequalities and injustice against women."
