Abstract
"El punto de partida de esta reflexión es que la misión y la interculturalidad son campos reflexivos y existenciales que se complementan. Uno de los mayores exponentes de la propuesta intercultural afirma que La interculturalidad surge del encuentro existencial entre las distintas visiones del mundo, las cuales en realidad se encuentran cuando no rehuyen el auténtico encuentro, la apertura del núcleo íntimo de sus respectivas culturas. En el fondo se trata de un encuentro religioso, desde el momento en que indaga en el sentido último de la vida y de la realidad. Para entender al otro se requiere esfuerzo, un esfuerzo precedido por la intención de conocerlo y hecho posible por la simpatía (com-pasión), ese olvidado atributo de la divinidad, aunque haya sido enfatizado por la Escritura cristiana (II Cor I,3) y forme parte del ‘Sermón de la Montaña’ (Lc VI,36).1" ["The starting point of this reflection is that the mission and multiculturalism are reflective fields and existential complementary. One of the greatest exponents of intercultural proposal states that Multiculturalism comes from the meeting existential between different visions of world, which actually are they do not shy away from the real encounter, opening of the innermost core of their respective cultures. To understand the other effort is required, a effort preceded by the intention of know and made possible by sympathy (Com-passion), the forgotten attribute divinity, although it has been emphasized by the Christian Scripture (II Cor I, 3) and part the 'Sermon on the Mount' (Luke VI, 36)"]
