Abstract
"La cristología de Aparecida tiene directamente que ver con la propuesta de su documento conclusivo. Ella consiste, en pocas palabras, en potenciar la dimensión misionera del cristianismo a partir de un “encuentro con Cristo”. De aquí que la de la V Conferencia consista en una cristología dinámica o funcional: lo que importa en primer lugar no es un concepto de Cristo, sino tener una experiencia de él. A este efecto, a continuación, se extrae el concepto de Cristo implícito en el documento." "The Christology of Aparecida is directly connected with the proposal made by the final document. In short, it consists in reinforcing the missionary potential of Christian faith starting from an “encounter with Christ”. This is why the Christology of the Vth Episcopal Conference is dynamic and functional: the most important aspect is not a concept of Christ, but rather an experience of Him. Toward this understanding the article analyzes the concept of Christ implicit throughout the document."
