Abstract
This research focuses on discussing the time management for developing spiritual intelligent of children in Muslim rural society, Malang, East Java. This research uses a case study. In fact, data show that 80% of women activities in spare time are not used effectively to educate moral and mentality of their children. It implicates the effectiveness of the spare time as productive time in increasing family quality which has not reached yet the hoped ideal pattern. Activity tendency which is done by housewives in accompanying their children is physical care activity. Moreover, many unproductive activities such as: chatting, watching less educated television program with their children without giving the understanding about the spiritual values are done. As a result, unconsciously, children learn conflict, materialistic dream, etc.
