"En 1918 un joven profesor escocés sustentaba una tesis doctoral sobre Miguel de Unamuno en la Universidad de San Marcos en Lima, señalando su profundo aprecio a “maestro tan eximio”, En 1946, en la misma casa de estudios, el mismo personaje daba una conferencia sobre la vigencia del notable pensador español, expresando, en términos más elocuentes, su admiración por él" ["In 1918 a young Scottish professor sustained a thesis on Miguel de Unamuno at the University of San Marcos in Lima, showing their deep appreciation "as distinguished teacher," In 1946, at the same university, the same character lecturing on the validity of the remarkable Spanish thinker, expressing, in more eloquent terms, his admiration for him"]
