Abstract
Pesantren is the original Indonesian product that until this experienced the quite fast development, was seen from this development pesantren could not be released from the history of the emergence in Indonesia, in the study of this scientific paper the writer wanted to give the new direction thinking about the pesantren that developed from period , at the same time tracing the historic root his emergence as well as geneologi the intellectual's thinking from the founders of Pesantren. Geneologi so that gave the special thinking feature for the development of the pesantren at this time. In this study the writer used the historic approach and the critical analysis in studying the development of the pesantren, as well as progressive thinking critical more writers used in seeing pesantren efforts to respond to the development of the time that increasingly advanced, that was marked by the development of information technology as well as the globalization. Here needed the existence dekontruksi the pesantren paradigm, was caused by the existence of the demand of the world time of the pesantren it was demanded to harmony and combined between the traditional values of the pesantren and the modernity of the development of the time. With the pattern approach thought inklusifistik, egalitarian and the spirit to improve himself in translating the values of the traditional cultural compromise in a modern way, here the location of the typical character indegenousitas the pesantren as the Islam educational agency in Indonesia. Hoped for in front of the development- the world of the pesantren as the Islam educational agency eldest could open and maintain the discourse of the discourse of world civilisation in Indonesia in especially and Islam in the world.
