Abstract
As the biggest maritim country, Indonesia has great opportunity to be one of the halal tourism destination in the world. Tuna fish is one of the Indonesian commodities which is potential to be greatest halal food in Indonesia. This article tries to describe about Indonesia as one of the halal tourism destination in the world and offer tuna as halal food in Indonesia. The author states that the strategies which can be used to make Tuna fist the best commodity are (a) improving the quality of Indonesian processed Tuna; (b) making the diversification of the processed Tuna products; (c) encouraging to overcome the barrier of tariff and non-tariff; (d) improving the development of intelligence markets and promotion.
