Abstract
"A filosofia britânica produzida nos séculos XVII e XVIII abrange temas que passam por quase todas as áreas da filosofia, definindo contornos decisivos para futuras abordagens no campo da filosofia política, da ética, da teoria do conhecimento e da estética. Nesse contexto, destacam-se autores distintos que em conjunto estabelecem uma unidade não necessariamente pautada na concordância das suas teses, mas, sobretudo, a partir de elementos conceituais que dialogam entre si e reconfiguram, em grande medida, aspectos importantes do debate filosófico" ["British philosophy produced in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries It covers topics that pass through almost all areas of philosophy, defining critical contours for future approaches in the field of political philosophy, ethics, epistemology and aesthetics.
