Abstract
"As fronteiras entre as manifestações religiosas e a cultura contemporânea, também chamada de pós-moderna, se encontram borradas e indefinidas. A resultante desse processo são hibridações ou novas estratégias de produção da identidade religiosa. Consumo, mídia, estética, arte moderna, ecologia, gênero se tornam campos em que as religiosidades passam a atuar, mimetizando, justapondo ou absorvendo linguagens culturais contemporâneas para tornar plausível a existência e a continuidade de suas práticas e narrativas" ["The boundaries between religious expression and contemporary culture, also called postmodern, are blurred and indefinite. The result of this process are hybrids or new strategies for the production of religious identity. Consumption, media, aesthetics, modern art, ecology, gender become fields where religiosity start acting, mimicking, or juxtaposing absorbing contemporary cultural languages to make plausible the existence and continuity of their practices and narratives"]
