Abstract
The study's findings under the title Contributions of Islamic Guidance and Counseling in the formation of Student Discipline, is the author's experience for ± 3 years of observing social issues, especially those that occur among adolescents. There are indications that juvenile delinquency that leads to anarchy and other criminal acts, in today's era of reform, the more revealing significant symptom improvement. The era of reform that should be able to create unity and cohesion of the deepening inter-state components; the growing prosperity of society and the wise people's behavior and manners of the students, it further away the noble values of mutual expectations. In the era of reform and democracy, one side is able to bring change to the disclosure of information the better, but like a blade, the euphoria of democracy has become distorted and actually led most of the components of the nation, especially students and youth towards absolute freedom under the pretext of democracy to actions that actually harm the Islamic values. The author is concerned if there is a presumption tilted various parties that form our concern for the phenomenon of delinquency and violence among students misinterpreted as an attempt mendeskriditkan Islam as a religion that is not able to provide answers to all problems that occur today. Instead, the authors provide a discourse that can be used as an antidote to the phenomenon of moral decadence among the youth, through the author's experience in vocational school in the city, which intensively applying Islamic Guidance and Counseling. As a result over the past five years, the discipline of student learning behavior showed an increasing indications. By writing the findings of this study, the authors hope is hopefully the application of the BKI in one of the SMK in Semarang City is able to be a discourse for educators, clergy, government, and all components of the nation in responding to problems of juvenile delinquency, in terms of teaching and education of Islam, as well as can be filed a rejection Islam is not able to answer our nation's social problems.
