Abstract
"A Bíblia Sagrada apresenta diversos contextos em que o termo egocentrismo é retratado como elemento dificultador para o crescimento espiritual do sujeito. Piaget aborda o termo egocentrismo como desfavorável à construção do pensamento autônomo do indivíduo. Assim, buscou-se investigar a relação do termo egocentrismo entre os dois paradigmas, verificando as possíveis implicações que o egocentrismo traz para a vida espiritual do sujeito adulto. Para tanto, recorreu-se ao estudo qualitativo da Bíblia e dos aportes teóricos do Construtivismo de Jean Piaget. Constatou-se que o egocentrismo espiritual (aspecto central do pensamento adulto) é considerado como sendo o estágio infantil da espiritualidade por desempenhar a mesma função e forma qualitativa do egocentrismo construtivista, e por evidenciar a relação de coação com as regras encontradas fundamentalmente no pensamento infantil tratado na teoria de Jean Piaget. Ademais, destaca-se que o desenvolvimento espiritual do sujeito estaria estritamente relacionado com as relações de cooperação, envolvendo não apenas a noção de 'dever' mas e principalmente a de 'querer' realizar" ["The Holy Bible presents many contexts in which the term egocentrism is portrayed as an impediment to spiritual growth for the subject. Piaget considers the term egocentrism as conducive to the creation of autonomous thinking of the subject. Thus, we sought to investigate the relationship of the term egocentrism between two paradigms, checking the possible implications that egocentrism brings to the spiritual life of the adult subject. Therefore, we resorted to the qualitative study of the Bible and of Piaget’s Constructivism. At the end of this essay, we concluded that spiritual egocentrism (main aspect of adult thinking) is considered as the infantile stage of spirituality by performing the same function and qualitative form of constructivist egocentrism, and by highlighting the relationship of coercion with the rules found primarily in children's thinking as approached on Piaget’s theory. Moreover, the study emphasized that the spiritual development of the subject would be strictly related to the relations of cooperation, involving not only the notion of ' duty ' but of ' wanting ' conduct"]
