Abstract
". En respuesta al urgente llamamiento de la región del África austral, reunida en 1995 en Kitwe, a reconocer la urgencia cada vez mayor de la injusticia económica mundial y la destrucción del medio ambiente, la 23ª Asamblea General (Debrecen/Hungría, 1997) invitó a las iglesias miembros de la Alianza Reformada Mundial a entrar en un proceso de “reconocimiento, educación y confesión” (processus confessionis). Las iglesias, escuchando el clamor de hermanos y hermanas de todo el mundo y mirando la amenaza al don de Dios de la creación, reflexionaron sobre el texto de Isaías 58:6 “…romper las cadenas de la opresión y los yugos de la injusticia, y dejar en libertad a los quebrantados”" [".
