Abstract
"As controvérsias relacionadas ao significado contido nos termos empregados pela doutrina são inerentes ao estudo do direito. Nesse contexto, entretanto, poucas questões suscitam tantas divergências quanto o uso do termo regulação no âmbito da ordem econômica. O problema central da definição do que vem a ser regulação concentra-se na inexistência de apenas duas ou três correntes doutrinárias ocupadas de sua descrição, às quais os estudiosos e operadores do direito buscariam alinhar-se. Cada autor parece utilizar as nomenclaturas relacionadas à economia e sua organização jurídica de forma diferente para criar entendimentos inéditos, muitas vezes baseados simplesmente no grau de abrangência e no número de conceitos contidos nos termos empregados" ["Disputes related to the meaning contained in the terms employed the doctrine inherent in the study of law. In this context, however, few questions raise many differences as the use of the term regulation in the context of the economic order. The central problem of the definition of what constitutes regulation focuses on absence of only two or three occupied doctrinal currents of his description, to which scholars and legal professionals seek to align. Each author seems to use the classifications related to the economy and its legal organization differently to create unprecedented understandings, often simply based on the degree of coverage and the number of concepts contained in the terms employed"]
